Biography

My interest in psychotherapy and learning what makes people do the things they do sparked when I quit a 12-year corporate career in 1988 and began practicing meditation.

Over the years I have found psychotherapy provides essential support for the unfolding of our true identity. This can be in the service of parenting young children or in exploring how we define who we are over the course of a lifetime. Development doesn’t stop when we enter adulthood, but rather moves through distinct phases which provide deeper access to our whole self.

As a licensed psychologist, I have a doctoral degree from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA and have been providing psychotherapy and consultation in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2001. I have specialized training in Depth Psychology, Dream Interpretation and Early Childhood Development and enjoy working with parents of young children and midlife adults.
